The apartment was cozy yet spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen that included a fridge and coffee machine - perfect for my morning brew. One of the highlights was definitely the complimentary WiFi and private parking available onsite, making it convenient for me to explore the area. The location was ideal, being within walking distance from the center and shops of Workington. Plus, the host provided towels and free toiletries, making my stay even more enjoyable. And the fact that Dove Cottage is only 44 km from Ambleside made it a perfect base for my Lake District adventures. Overall, I would highly recommend Dove Cottage to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient stay in the Lake District. the personal touches and amazing hosts truly made my stay memorable. Can't wait to come back and explore the area even more!
